We have an immediate requirement for a Health, Safety & Compliance professional to provide professional support to the management and teams of Property, Investment and Facilities Management (PIFM) to enable them to comply with statutory requirements in line with corporate policies. Drafting Risk Assessments, Training Needs Analysis and PIFM Standard Operating Procedures where required.
You will review property compliance data, assist relevant teams with CDM compliance through training and auditing, provide guidance and practical solutions to ensure legal compliance, assist teams in developing safe systems of work including mentoring through the development of H&S risk maps, risk assessments and method Statement, draft PIFM H&S Standard Operating Procedures where required for review by the Health, Safety and Compliance Lead, support the Hard FM and Construction Teams with CDM Compliance and Control of Contractors processes/ compliance. Providing professional advice through all project stages.
You will have a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, recognised internal auditor qualification and possess a sound Knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulation and best practice, specifically in a construction setting.
With good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and have the ability to undertake health and safety inspections, audits and specific risk assessments. Experience of writing reports, policies, procedures and safe systems of work in an engaging style are a prerequisite.
