This is an exciting opportunity to join the Electrical/Street Lighting Team where you will lead the delivery of a new Contract.
Key responsibilities –
Oversee the delivery of the Street lighting asset replacement programme.
Manage and report on the capital budget relating to the project.
Review and authorise technical approval documentation prepared in connection with the project.
Act as the Authorities point of excellence on the project.
Develop the procurement of a new service delivery contract which will include both maintenance and replacement programmes.
Liaise with stakeholders, Town and Parish Councils on the program of works.
Work closely with the design and build team of the appointed contractors.
You will be a professional street lighting engineer with a degree level qualification
Prince 2 (or equivalent) qualified
An up to date knowledge and experience of street lighting, design standards (including relevant technical legislative and administrative guidance).
Ability to negotiate with and influence external parties including the public.
